Ronan Keating's 'Terrible' Few Years

Ronan Keating's Boyzone singer admits that he had a devastating few years following the loss of his band mate Stephen Gately and split from his wife Yvonne.

Ronan comment that the two major loss hit him very hardly and he wants to be in a place where he has ''no stress'' in his life.


He said: ''I've broken down and I've had times where I've had to retreat. I'm only human. I've failed at certain things and learnt a lot and I've been through things that I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy.

''Some things I created myself, other things have just ended up on my lap and there was nothing I could do.

''The amount of stress I've dealt with over the past few years is a terrible thing and it makes you sick. I want to live a life with no stress and real happiness.''

Keith Disclose death of Stephen Gately!!!

Keith reveals that the death of Stephen Gately helped to bring Boyzone even more closer.

Keith unleashed that the tragic death just in age of 33 is really a great shock for him and their band members Ronan, Shane and Mikey.

Dad-of-two Keith, 37, said: “As time goes on the gaps in between become easier to manage, but dates like the anniversary are obviously tough, very tough.

“But I think Steo’s passing actually helped bring us closer together, in a way.

“It was such a tragic event and such a shock but we were there for each other and still are. It almost brought us closer having been through something like that.”

He said: “We’ve plans in place for a tour and an album next year for the 20th anniversary — that’s if people want to come and see us!

“We’ve a very loyal fanbase that always come in their thousands. It’s a nice set-up. We never broke up, so we can take time out to do our own thing, and then get back together when it suits.”

Boyzone looking forward for 20th Anniversary album

To mark their 20th anniversary in Music Industry, Boyzone are planning a special album and tour next year.

The group formed after responding to an advertisement hunting for stars in 1993, and their debut album -- Said and Done -- hit shelves the following year.

"We've plans in place for a tour and an album next year for the 20th anniversary - that's if people want to come and see us," sun.co.uk quoted group member Keith Duffy as saying.

“I watched him on Coronation Street. Seeing him doing it made me realise that acting was what I wanted to do.

“When I found out I was in Hollyoaks dad took me to the Soap Awards with him so I could meet some of the cast.

“He brought me so I could be introduced to Emmett Scanlan so that was good.”

Jay got the job after an acting agent watched him lead the cast in a school play.

He said: “I auditioned for Peter Pan a couple of years ago and I was spotted.

“I didn’t go to acting school. I’d only done a few small school productions, but I watched my dad on TV.

“I’ve been on a lot of Boyzone tours so I saw my dad in the spotlight.

“It was very good fun, not many guys get to go on tour with their dad.

“My dad taught me to appreciate what you are given, you’re not always going to get a chance.”
